Default parting out vs selling

well, the time has come for the 97 SE to go. We are not in a huge hurry to get rid of it, but it'* just sitting around taking up room and insurance money.
The car is in good condition except the front bumper. The frame is still there, but the bottom part with the fog lights is missing. This would be an issue when selling, but not so much when parting out. everything else works great. all sensors good, no CELs, etc.

KBB puts the value at 1900, and nada puts it at 2500.
I wouldnt expect to get that much for it, but do you think it would be worth it to part out instead? I'm not sure how much demand there is.

Cancel the insurance if you are not driving it.

See if you can get a replacement bumper cover and sell the car. I don't know if it would be worth it to part it all out.

unless you have at least 2-3 years to get rid of all the parts, sell the car whole

Without checking the Wanted section to see if you've already done this, I'd like to ask you to post in the Wanted section that you're looking for a gold 96-99 SE bumper cover.

The problem is location. Mn is a HUGE state, but parts can be hard to come by, esp. if everything is spread out.

Bumper covers can be had cheaply. Shipping them can't be done cheaply...therein lies the problem.

Oh, I just figured MN is just like any other Midwest state - Bonnevilles all over.
