Default Part number for strut cap?

Does anyone know the part number for the rubber/plastic cap that finishes off the top of the front strut?

It is the one that you can see under the hood and on top of the mount tower.

Sorry do not have a pic of it.

Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge, the 2000 and newer don't have them. Check the pic here:

I don't recall ever seeing them on the 2k'*. I do on both of my cars though, however, mine wouldn't fit yours. Every 2k I've seen has exposed upper strut mount nuts, and no caps.

IIRC there is something covering the top of the strut.....it may not look like a 92-99 "cap" but there is something there for sure

That little black cap (looks like a Stan Laurel hat) just to the left of the left hood strut is a plastic cap. I'll have to do some searching to see if I can find a part number. Considering what it is, I'd guess the dealer could probably get one for a reasonable cost.

My cav doesn't have them....I thought GM stopped putting them on around 2000 to save .05 cents on every car.
