Default Part Number Clarification

I just wanted to make sure that 89017825 is the correct part # for the Series II LIM gasket set.

If so is this the aluminum frame gasket I keep hearing about?

Thanks in advance!

The "problem" is that they continue to change part numbers for that gasket. The last 3 that I bought had different numbers. Your best bet is to get it from the dealer, or from Intense.

Edit - This is the latest information from AllData for the part number.

when i bought mine, i went to the dealer in person and asked specifically asked for the aluminum, i also double checked myself before buying them. i think thats probably the best bet for about 60 bucks, Intense sells theirs for 50+ship

I just ordered a set from Intense. I confirmed with Scott they are the aluminum framed gaskets.

Here is where I got mine (took about 5 business days to arrive):

LIM gasket set, GM 89017816
http://www.rmsautoparts.com/proddeta...?prod=89017816

I paid $55 (including FEDEX from FL to CA).

Perhaps an older part number, but I received them last Friday, and I can confirm that they are aluminums with guide pins on both the gaskets and the end seals.
