has a 93 Bonneville Se with leather. Actually its his step dad'* car. His step dad is in a mental institution so he gets to drive it while his 87' Jepp is getting thousands of dollars of repairs done. He likes the Bonne more and more everyday. Unfortunatly he kicks the **** out of it evryday and brags about it. He starts it on a cold engine and floors it, says he goes 100+mph all the time but he enjoys it at least, huh?
Its a rust bucket though.

I was once like him in a way. I used to beat the living sh*t out of my bonne.
hopefully he will slowly realize what he is doing to the car. Either that or a few tickets will really put a cap on how he drives.
Beating the pulp out of a car is different than driving a car hard.
Rob...you better hope Geoff doesn't see the part about no more one wheel burnouts..cause I know his car does them well.. I wonder how I knew that?

If your'e going to expect a lot out of your car you have to be ready to put back into it, if you want to have it for long. My bonne is pushing 116k miles and I still drive it like the day I brought her home with under 39k, and I'm looking forward to taking her back out on the track this coming spring.
When it comes to my car I always say, if you treat her like a lady, she'll always bring you home.

yeah I hate people like that. I am not saying drive like a grandmother. I have got me to 100 once. But usualy it doesn't more then 85. You get lot better fuel milage if you don't floor all the time. Plus with my have 160+ I worry about the motor if it see more then 4000+ rpm can't be very good for thing
Don't get me wrong. My girl'* seen 100+ plenty of times (stupid limiter kicks in at 105, note to self post question asking how to reprogram this) like just this morning...... but I also spend time keeping up with regular and preventive maintenace. So much so wife gets jealous sometimes
