whats are the characteristics/specs on the old (80'*) 3800'*? The LG3 the LN3, etc? I know none are supercharged, but what are the differences and stuff? Since I only drive Series II'*, I have almost no info on these types of engines, and I thought I should brush up on my bonnie heritage.
well i know a buddy of mine who works at Durham Engines in Oshawa, Ont. the difference i think between the N/A and the SC is a longer stroke and uhh well i am having a brain fart, mabey someone else can tell you, there are alot of Guru'* on this forum/site that can give you more insite onto the subject at hand..... i really need some sleep
One of the most common problems with the LN3 was the cam magnet breaking. I have heard as many Code 41 stories as I have heard upper intakes failing on Series II mills :?
Besides we all know they are the best all around!
ill rac ya but when it hits 5900 my cheap plastic upper intake will pop off and spray boiling hot coolant all over you
which reminds me...did anyone see the Monster Garage where they built the rock crawler out of the old Bronco? if so do you remember when Jesse had that old Cutlass or whatever it was and just floored it till i dunno somethin under the hood frickin blew up and shot coolant EVERYWHERE!!
