but its going for what...$12,000?

at $12k-$14k the GXP is a nice car...but you are comparing to a $18k-$24k cadillac.

In the 40kish range (normal driving for the year) its stupid to pay more than $14,000 for a GXP imo. We are 3-4 years old at this point.

I haven't really found any GXPs for less than 20k around here. Atleast ones that aren't high mileage. You're right, it doesn't make sense to pay 20k for a GXP at this point.

Who told you there'* a greater wow factor with an STS? No, it'* with the GXP in my opinion. You can always pull a ddalder and make an STS out of a GXP

Whichever car you get, stay here on the forums. Don't go running off in all that luxury and forget forum interaction! By the way, I heard that the blocky, little VW Golf in all those YouTube videos that passes Supras and 911 Turbos is a supercharged Northstar swap job. That'* intriguing. Of course, that doesn't mean you should get an STS-V. 4.4L Northstar GXP swap!

if the cars you are comparing are all teh same price then ofcourse go for the better deal. so if its the STS then so be it.

If money is a factor then you may want to concider the insurance difference. i can almost garentee that the STS is going to be a hell of a lot more then the GXP

and like you have said the inside is nothing to brag about. the GXP however i fall inlove all over again every time i get in her.

and the STS just doesnt have that sporty aggressive look like some one else on here has said.

im glad im not in your shoes. and agree too bad the G8'* didnt come out a couple years ago.WAY OVER PRICED....................

I wont hate you for getting the STS. cuz that means one less person with my car

haha just kidden
