Since I don't drive the car a whole lot, I seem to change the oil waaay more often then usual. Is that still okay? I don't really want to invest in Mobil one until the car is actually driven 3,000 miles/year. Which should be soon. As long as the car is proven reliable, says the nuts parent.

Yeah..you can change it as often as you want while it sits in teh driveway not running.
Actually change it up every 3K with dino and you are in good shape.

lmao.. you guys are all going to harrass me for quite some time about my head gasket blowing aren't you?
Actually, I think more of the oil would go into the coolant than anything.. although I don't really want to find out.
Either way, I try not to beat on my car, but I definitely can say I don't drive like a grandma.

Not really having too much fun...but honestly it seems like each day you are posting something that a person w/a running car would be asking. I find a little humor in that and my sarcastic side has a way of showing up in my posts.
You are doing good...get it running and start enjoying the ride.

I will get it running.. this week is disassembly week.. weekend they are going to the machine shop [already reserved everything, confirmed price, etc..]. So my guess, within the next two weeks, she should be done. I've already got all the money sitting right here for the parts and services, so it'* just a matter of getting it done. Right now I am just researching the little things, because I am not ******* up this time. Plus I am starting to look into every little thing on the car [even if it isn't a problem] trying to see what can help/not help with the whole engine. Like oil viscosity
It'* all right though, I do kinda deserve it

I don't think it'* more of me being worried about it being a problem. More in that I like every little thing to be perfect, and I will stop at nothing to make everything perfect. I mean, I always investigate even the smallest things. Like the stalling when the car goes into gear. It'* just how I am, I am extremely anal about stuff like that. Plus it makes me feel good knowing that I don't have an oil flow problem.
