Default oil sending gauge

I went underneath the car and couldnt find the sender. anyone want to give me any pointers to where this is at? and dont say by the oil filter adapter cause i dont know where that is. Is it anywhere near the oil filter?

Sure.. Jack up the front passenger side. Remove the tire. Then remove the plastic splash shield. The oil sender is right there on the back of the motor.

BTW.. the 2000 mechanical section will get you more exposure with this type of post in the future.

The oil filter screws onto the oil filter adapter. Look right above where the oil filter screws on. Look for something that looks like a deep well socket or a large tube of lipstick sticking out. That'* what it looks like on 92-95 anyway.

I used a 1 and 1/8th or 1 and 1/16 socket to remove it...i forget. 10 minute job.

NO oil will be lost. not a drip.

thanks, guys i figured it out. i actualy did have some oil spill out though. it'* so nice to have the gauge working, Ive had the car for two years and 1. i didnt realize it was pegged high and 2. didnt realize it was that easy.
