Default Oil and Filter recommendations

Just as the title says...

Thought this would be a good thread to have, especially for newer members who would want to change there own oil.

In my 95 Bonneville I use Havoline 10W30 for oil and either the PF47 AC Delco filter or Carquest equivalent.

So what have you guys found to be good oil and filter brands?

Thanks,

Todd

I used Fram until I cut one open. The inside was all collapsed. All paper inside. The mobil1 had a plastic inside to hold the filter paper. Never will I go back to Fram.

The 5w is a nice thin oil in the cold, just the way you want it.

The new Xtended Guards are nice. They have a mesh inner frame made of metal for each filter weave and a two ply filter medium.
