Default oil drain plug sizes

Do the 93 and 99 SE models have the same size oil pan drain plugs?

I'm pretty sure they are still the same size drain plug. It should be a 15mm head on it.

Yes, they are both a 15 mm head, but I guess I'm looking for the thread pitches. Are the thread pitches the same size?

I'd say they are. A plug from a 99 should thread right into a 93 and vice versa. I'm 90% possitive that GM uses the same drain plug in all of their vehicles, it'* just cheaper that way.

I tried it last night. They are NOT the same thread pitch. The 93 has finer threads than the 99.
