Personally, I tend to stick with Mobil 1 and AC DECLO filters...oil dark brown come 3000 miles.. If its black its basically exhausted and NEEDS to be changed..check it every now and then, if it looks really dark after a while..change it again just to get all the crap outta it.

If you are going to Auto Zone they can scan the car and tell you what the code is for free.

BTW that Service Engine Soon light is most likely the oil right?
Dirty oil doesn't set an SES in 93. Flash for codes.

Seems to me the Purolater filters are the best. That'* what I was gonna get for the 'Rora'* oil change (which will need to be done right after I get her, pretty much) and Mobil 1 is what I'll use for oil. Sound good? Thanks again, guys

Actually yeah, ive heard good things about those filters my self.
I've used a Purolator Pure one in my park ave..and once in my Bonneville...seemed to do the trick
Actually im considering switching to Red line synthetic and Pure one filters because a parts store close to me carries the two and i get a 10% discount there..

K&N gold,castrol 10 w 30 and a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer....

K&N is good, castrol is good and Lucas must be if they are a motorsports sponsor!!
(NHRA,IHRA,NASCAR,etc,etc,etc)

I don't worry about disposal...............I let someone else change mine!!!!!!!!!
(Don't worry,It is a good friend that does it!!!!!!)

Bat your eyelashes and get some guy to do it!

Or go out and get a case of Mobil1, a K&N oil filter, and a 12-pack of beer, and do it right before some chick does it better.

I prefer the endcap wrench i have to any strap wrech. It just slides over the ridges and you put a 3/8 drive socket wrench in it and turn.
