Just hope the owners of cloth top B-ville'* keep the maintenance up on the tops. My dad has a 1990 Olds 98 that *had* a cloth top. Looked really sharp on the Oldsmobile. Dad had full coverage with a $0 deductable all the way across the board.
In November of this year he and my younger brother were on their way to South Dakota for pheasant hunting. When they were going through the windmill power generator line near the MN/SD border the winds became very strong.
Heading west, they meet a semi going east. The turbulence it caused ripped the top right off the car *KABOOM*!!!!
Insurance refused to cover the cost due to neglect to maintain.
I've never heard of maintenance on cloth top other than softeners and cleaners that protect against the sun.

My dad'* top was held on with six 10" blobs of silicone on the car roof, and more on the C-pillars, as well as metal screws every 6 inches above the windshield, and more along the bottom of the rear windshield.
So now my dad'* driving his Oldsmobile with the holes and the metal sticks up where the screws were ripped out.
This car can no longer have full coverage because of the roof damage (at least not until they are filled and painted properly).
