I'm going to be filling up the tank today. I've been filling it with 91 octane ARCO the last several fill-ups. Should I stick with the 91, or do you guys think that'* overkill? The owner'* manual says to pour in 87 minimum.

So i would go with 87 minimum.

I run 93 all the time now, cuz i felt a difference when i started using it.

Its only costing me like $10 a month more, so its worth it, but the L36 might not do the same as my L27, you may not feel anything.

I used 89 max octane in my L27. If you want to pay premium that'* your call. It shouldn't hurt anything, though it probably won't help either. If you had an L67 (supercharged motor) you REQUIRE premium whether you want to pay or not.

Bandit, the only way a higher octane may be helping you is if you have nasty deposits in your motor causing mad knock and detonation. Higher octane is harder to ignite. There is no 'power' in it.
