NSX vs. "Granny Cruiser"
So I was cruising around sunday morning going to get my hair cut, get some laundry detergent and pick up my girlfriend. I was rolling down the 5S to the 10E.. Just as I got to the 10E, the traffic slowed and I saw a couple nice cars... a Red NSX w/ ugly *** rims and a Diablo SV650 and a NSX w/ a bodykit made to LOOK like a Diablo (just the rear looked like a diablo)..
I merged onto the ramp that goes around to the 10 and the NSX and Diablo move over to the same ramp. The Diablo gets next to me in the turn, and the NSX is riding my ***. So I dropped another gear and slowed down even more... I noticed this guy had his girl with him and was apparently trying to get next tothe diablo.
We all three merged out onto the 10E and all lined up next to each other. The D was on my right and the NSX on my left. I looked over at the diablo dude and he looked back and i gave him thumbs up. The NSX kept looking over and revving and the Diablo guy shook his head.. I motioned at the Diablo guy to "let me take him" kinda look... and he nodded in amusement, with a lip readable "Ok".
I looked over at the NSX and yelled "joo puzy", and motioned for him to slow down. As we all started to slow, I reached down hit 1 bar AND armed the funny stuff. We all slowed enough on the freeway (kinda empty on the 10E).. to about what seemed like 30mph....
I gave the NSX driver the nod.. and the 'go' signal... and the NSX started to pull.
I looked over at the Diablo driver one more time and rolled my eyes and notioned to the NSX that was starting to pull on me... and he just smiled. I nailed it.. boost spiked to 1.1 and I started reeling in the NSX... working into third gear I squeezed.. and pulled about 2 lenghts on the NSX, the Diablo in tow right next to me watching this spectacle... top of third we were well ahead of the NSX, with the NSX falling behind...
I jumped off the juice and hit scramble and we just left the NSX like he wasn't even trying anymore... Then my attention turned tward teh Diablo that was next to me...
I then realized that the Diablo driver was looking over at me with confusion, as I began to pull on him.... boost spiked to 2bar, and the warning went off and boost dropped for a second and settled to just under 2.... and I walked the Diablo through the first part of fourth and then he started gaininig....
Top of fourth he was back at the door and smiling as he pulled away, prolly in third.. LOL... and he put about 3 lenghs on me and slowed down...
We both gave thumbs up and I admited as easily as you can, that he had my azz from second 1. The NSX then caught up a few mintues later, and as he rolls by us... his girl was looking over with her jaw wide open..
The guy wouldn't even look over at me and the Diablo... and kept to himself, with his girl all wet. I looked over at the Diablo driver one more time and shook my head and pointed to the NSX, about the time he looked over.. and was pissed...
I exited the freeway at my offramp and waved...
