Not as pretty as I thought, but.....

Starts fine, shifts sloppy (checked trans fluid and its very bad), motor is very noisy, and has way more miles than was stated on eBay (over 170k). Its a pig. I'm gonna need lots-o-help and maybe a trunk monkey to get this looking and running right.

at least the cat likes it

looks like it has a good number of common problems...nothing that cant be fixed if you can find a nice parts car in the local yard and some touchup with the paint.

Its gonna get a full-blown repaint, probably by end of the year. I would like to do a S2 swap and possibly a Megasquirt computer. But I will have to get it running right first and foremost as I can't have an untagged car here and I doubt I can work on it at a storage unit.

Unfortunately, it looks like you have some rust under the spoiler. A new paint job is the only fix for that one. I would check the rear fenders where they are overlapped by the buper cover. That'* another spot where plastics rubs on paint and causes rust.
Other than that, looks like standard wear and tear.
