1 week later.....after I buy it....200 miles to a full tank of gas. original O2 sensor has 100k on it.

Thats 11.7MPG



I was actually quite impressed though, for my driving style, specifically around town. That was city driving...and excessive highway speeds driving only.

Yes the rotors and pads were virtually brand new and yes they are already warped....

I have now just learned that the pedal has more than just that one WOT position

No tickets yet, but I have only had the car a week.

I visit my sister next week which will be a strictly highway...I will see how it does then.

From this day on I will drive more like a normal citizen I PROMISE!

at least until I get a smaller pulley and fix my exhaust/fuel delivery issues

Dood i'd take it a little more easy than that. I get 17mpg mixed. My rotars lasted a good month before they where warped. You warped yours in half the time. Just make sure to change the trans fluid every 15K if you are gonna drive that hard.

Original O2? Change it now. It'* killing you.

I've had my car for almost a week too. I'm changing my O2 sensor this weekend (original at 106K), but on the highway home from I got a surprising 27 mpg. I only punched it two or three times though. Luckily 90% of my driving here is on the highway.

You should be getting 27-31 all highway. Thats what my Bonnes do.
Change the 02 and do a standard tune up for starters.

I've heard that extra G-forces give your cellular matter a workout...

and X4 on the O2 and cat + tune up.
