all Bonnevilles 87 to 05 used the 3800, except for the 04 and 05 GXP which used the 4.0 Northstar.
however, there are many Bonnevilles on this forum running 300+ horsepower
BadSSEi, the quickest and fastest Bonneville ran a 10.711 @ 125.71mph

not really se is the lowest modle. still hits around 200hp i belive. i have a 03 and a 95 both are just as fast as the other but still slow compared to the supercharged ssei or northstar.. but enough power to take out imports
