Default Nitrous??

I was just wondering if anyone here runs nitrous in there bonny. My neighbor has a whole NOS kit and doesn't need it anymore and was going to give it to me for free and put it in if I wanted and I just told him I don't know yet. So I was just wondering if anyone here runs it.

If you sell it on eBay, have fun shipping hazardous materials. Last I've heard Nitrous is flammable.

no its not.

Q: Is nitrous oxide flammable?

A: No. Nitrous oxide by itself is non-flammable. However, the oxygen present in nitrous oxide causes combustion of fuel to take place more rapidly.

I am not going to claim that i am nearly as knowledgeable about the 3800 as many of the people in this thread who have dismissed Nitrous as an option, but is it really that bad? I've read books on forced induction, including nitrous, and i find it hard to believe that it is not a viable option for these engines if setup correctly. Can anyone elaborate why Nitrous is so bad for the 3800 in particular? Isn't there someone with a 1990 Bonneville who is successfully running a nitrous setup? I also recall Almachtige running it too a few years ago.
