New to this site and bonnevilles :)
I just recently bought a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville for a whopping $40
. My uncle said the fuel pump was bad in it and that the car would drive great for a while and then just die. After I got it and plated I took it out and my friend and I cruised for about 2hrs fine. The next day we drove for about an hour and parked at another friends house for a couple hours. When we came back out the car wouldn't start and since it was about 1am we just walked home and left it for the night. The next morning my friend, his dad, and myself went up and took a look at the car and tested spark and fuel. When we took the fuel line off before the filter nothing pumped out :( also broke the piece of rusted fuel line after the filter. We replaced the broken fuel line and took out the back seat and kicked the floor where we thought the fuel pump might sit. The fuel pump started pumping fuel like nothing was wrong and has since ran perfect for about 600miles. My dad said he thinks it may be a ground or something for the fuel pump. Any ideas on this situiation? BTW I really love the "Bonnebeast" (thats what we named her
) any way to tell if it is SE or SSE ? It doesn't have a SC but has nice leather seats and sun roof whoot. Anyway nice to find this forum and hope I find lots of helpful information.

its could be ans SLE, look on the spare tire cover, there will be a white lable with numbers and letters on. Look for the code H4U. That is the code for the SLE Package. even if you dont have the code, it seems that you have a pretty loaded SE

Look at the first 5 didgets of the Vin..
1G2HX( SE Model ) But if you have the H4U you have the SLE Package making it an SLE Bonneville
1G2HZ ( SSE Bonneville )

I looked and I have the H4U code on the spare cover. My Fog-Lights are below my headlights. Any ideas about the stalling and after kicking where the fuel pump might sit it now has ran for about a week and a half with no prob? I have painted the stabilizer bar and the plastic cover that says 3800 TPI on it candy apple red and it looks nice. I'm looking to soup up the bonnebeast when I get some spare cash. I have a chrome pipe and just need an air filter to fit it for my cold air intake.
