Default New plugs & O2

Today I hung out with my dad and he got me some little things for the car as a B-day present, since taking me out to dinner wasn't enough in his book. But he got me a new O2 and plugs. The old O2 came out no problem at all and had the new sensor installed in mins. At 142k on my car it looked like the original O2. I was getting 17-18mpg per tank (mostly freeway) so we'll see if/ how much that increases. And I just got a new set of 104'* Copper ones this time since my Plats didn't seem like they were holdin up so well after a few months.

7 years & 142K right here

That should do it up nicely. The ecm will be getting actual good readings from that new 02 and will send the correct ammount of fuel/air to them new 104'*!

I definately noticed an improvement when I did mine weekend before last.

I'm up to 22-24 MPG with an aggressive foot

I just did the 95, and got 26mpg mixed city/hiway. 20 was the best before that.

Awesome, I really hope to pick up a few mpg if I get 23-24 I'll be super happy anything over that would just be a added bonus. Most of my driving is freeway, I live like 1/2 mile from the freeway on ramp and both school and work are right off the freeway. School is like 17.5 miles one way, work is like 6miles so I'm excited about the gains I'll see.

[Edit]

After I backed my car in the drive when I came home tonight (more like this morning) and was walking to the door. I could swear my exhaust fumes in the air smelled much different then before.
