Well I now have in my possession a Grey 1990 SSE. Just drove it the 4+hours home. Ran into a bit of bad weather, but myself and Reneé were safe in the Bonneville, while I had my buddy drive my 03 Malibu, lol. He was supposed to be driving home in a new to him jeep, but that was a no go.

Actually, as soon as we got into town, we dropped it off at the garage so it can be safetied, and since there was insurance on it for only 1 day for me to drive it home.

I will get pics soon. Maybe I can grab a couple tomorrow of both cars together. First I need sleep.

UPDATE!!

Well I just got back from the garage, they finally had a chance to check her out to see what it needs to be certified for the road.

Here is the list

Emergency brake cables
Rear shoes and drums, only reason is that one of the shoes is starting to separate
Drivers side front flex hose

Not needed for safety but getting done
Front sway bar link kit
oil change
tranny filter and fluid change, NOT a flush.

and that was it. I was really surprised it wasn't a bigger list. The mechanic was also surprised how good the car looked, compared to the white one that is, lol.

Hope to have it on the road early next week. I am trying to get insurance on it today so I can plate it, then when they have a chance the garage will do the work on it.
