please help needed asap!! Just got the car, made the mistake of letting the woman be in charge of the keys tonight. Only set, both bonne keys on it, and house key. Keep in mind, windows are completely blacked out, and power locks don't work, so jimmy'ing it will be tough. Could a transmitter from my 98 be switched over somehow?? Just help please anybody! Don't want to break the window out:(
Thanks,
Chris

I wouldn't break a window. It'* cheaper to call a towing company and have them unlock it.
Another transmitter won't work unless it was programmed to work with the RAC in the car. Idoubt that you could even program a 98 remote to a 93 car.

Why don't you have power locks? If you don't have power locks due to some electrical problem, you also don't have a working alarm. Meaning switching over the fob will NOT work. But, this also means if you do get the door open, that you won't have an alarm to deal with.

All in all, it'll probably be cheaper to break the window. There'* no way a locksmith or anyone is going to be able to get it. I do this for a living, I'd know how easy it was. I won't say it can't be done, but with 5% tint, no power locks, and the drivers door unable to be pried open at this point, the limits are near. Already tried once today and he said that the windows were too dark and he'd have to try later when it'* sunny. What he doesn't know is it'll pry be worse later because the black tint will draw in the sunlight and it'll just be one hell of a glare and it'll be just as hard to see in. I've done this many times on my 98, and I'd rather break a window and pay to replace it then cut up another door sill/door jamb/weatherstripping all to hell. Not worth the $40 (at least) to jimmy it. This Sucks! back to bed until I have to go back to work...
