Hi and welcome to the forum!! the question would be how much boost your engine could take lol remember swaping the pulley to lower sizes gives you more boost but your engine would need other mods if i am correct to handle or take that kind of boost.. the experts on this could help you out today when they get online, ill be gladly to help you but i dont have to much knowledge just the basics

When you go with a smaller pulley you should have a few supporting mods in place. Colder spark plugs, Opened up intake and exhaust any thing to drop the temp of the air and help your your engine run cooler and reduce KR. I have a 3.4" pulley with 11 lbs of boost and have KR numbers that aren't bad. I think most run a 3.5 or 3.6 pulley and are happy. Just remember to support the pulley with what it needs for air

I don't suggest a pulley smaller then a 3.5" unless your scanning for KR and have other supporting mods such as a open exhaust. PEMs, Plog, headers, rockers, cam. If you start to get KR you risk damaging your engine.

Paul please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

I'm running currently a 3.5 pulley with a few mod - open exhaust, CAI, 180 T-stat, colder plugs.
