Default Neat info pertaining to 1997 B-ville'*

I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but I just came across it.
Enjoy!

Also, I notice that Gold Firemist wasn't an option in 1997. So far I believe I've only seen 1998'* in Gold Firemist (the color of my 1998 SSE), and I've also seen a 2000 or 2001 SLE in Gold firemist.

That year only had one recall, which only affected 47 units. Something to do with the seats. According to the Nhsta. I think thats pretty good compared to other cars, even other bonnies.

looks like the 97 had all the bugs worked out from the 96 Similar to how the 93 were way better than the 92'*

The ecm to pcm was not complete yet and thats why its hard to get any upgraded chips for the 95-96 model years. Those years are not really obd 1 or obd 2.

97 saw several thousand Bonnevilles ship without RF swaybar endlinks. Thousands of customers had to return to the dealer to have them installed.

So, yea. Both were good years, just more infected for a 93' because it took GM so long to finally recall it.
