Default Name that part

Anyone know what this is? It was in the way of me installing my Pioneer EQ and I wanted to know if I even need it of not.

I tried looking up the model/serial number on GM Parts Direct but nothing came up. If its something I need, I can probably tuck it back under where it came from if it clears the EQ.

Thanks

Almost looks like the stock amp, but the mounts are different.

If it helps any, it is centrally located under the console and it snaps in by a clip, nothing else holding it.
