I scored a new center console vent and the light thing between the visors for $10.




And I of course gotta thank Dr. Pepper for the caffeine to get the stuff out



I also a layer of dirt from the one where I got the vent from, going to go shower


On a sad note I saw them bringing in what was left of a 99 se that was burned beyond reconition, it was a little freaky....

And you are lucky you found those vents in such good shape, most are broken all to hell.

I don't understand why almost all of those center console vents are broken.. Someone shed some light on that for me?

EDIT: I went and installed the stuff I got, all went well except for putting in the left part of the vent, a part was missing that I didn't know about so its barely hanging on right now, and the map light works 100%! Theres some exposed headliner around it though, anything I can cover it with?

Any ideas ppl? Map light isn't staying in all the way and the headliner u can see around the light. What can I cover it with?

Sounds to me like you got the maplight assembly out of the wrong year, or installed it wrong. What year was the donor car?

It was a 92-95 base bonneville. Are there different sizes of map lights? (they all look the same :? )

Check the 8-digit part number molded into both parts and post them here.

I found 92-2358-1 and the last digit wasn't readable

And I figgetted with it and got it in all the way... *knocks on wall*
