POR-15 Ryan. If your SE looks good in those spots, I'd do that since it'* going to be your winter car.

To be sure your unibody is good I'd get it inspected by a shop though. When I did the POR-15 job on my car, everything looked great underneath. 6 weeks later, POP!!

this really worrys me now though... cuz i have more miles then both of you two. :(

Peter. i would not drive it like that. it could make the other two go and then your whole trans and motor falls to the ground and might break or mess other things up. :?

Ryan, you could have a point. Though it'* lasted this long...maybe it'* not THAT bad. :? I haven't seen it in person to know though.

But look at it this way, at least you have a virtually rust-free 95 SSEi in case you have a problem with your SE. You may not want to drive it in the winter, and you probably won't ever have to, but if you did it would take YEARS to do damage to it. POR-15 the SSEi now and you will never have to worry about it, I guarantee it.

Pete...two Canadian cars driven by Petes fall to the same issue. :( I hope you get it fixed ASAP. If you drive it please be careful. Although I think you're nuts if you do. lol

Wow, you went over train tracks knowing you had cracking. You truly are brave!

Very bad corrosion.
I see Ontario winter road conditions have not changed. It was always rare to see any daily driven car over 5 years old that wasn't a rust bucket.
One of the reasons I moved.
