The replacement part that GM sells for this is steel with an O-ring.

the heads and intake has some small pits. i decided to swipe them with 'real seal' gasket maker just to fill the pits. we will see how it works.
fuel injector spa.
when i first arrived to us:
starting to look presentable. i might have to do the water pump just because it looks like crap. i am kinda anal like that. :?
on hold till junkyark charger and needle bearings arrive. with any luck i'd do a burnout next weekend.

The coolant bypass fittings at ALL auto parts stores are steel. Not just the dealer.
Port match that LIM. Those edges are ugly. You have time while you wait for the new SC.

plus i can't get too attached to the car because i have been dropping some hints on my interest but my mother is not going to part with it. :(

No previous owner touched that LIM. That'* factory hatchet work. You think that'* bad, go look at an L36 LIM.
