Default My headlights are WAY OFF!!

Well I tried to aim my low and high beams last night.

What a Pain in the AS$!!!!

As you know there is a "star" type shape in the screws so I used my "star" shaped screw head and tried to aim them. Well I know NOW that they were tight as hell, but I didn't know when I started. So therefore I stripped the star shape from the screw so I can't do it that way.

I then used a hex socket to see if I could loosen it that way. Well I got one loose, but I kept on unsrewing it and it wasn't doing a damn thing!!

I tried the other headlight and the screws were soooo damn tight I couldn't do anything. So does this mean I can't aim them?? My high beams are about 1 1/2 feet off from each other at about 20 feet away from a wall. My low beams aren't that much off so I really just want to aim my high beams.

Anyone have any suggestions? :? Thanks

Try some liquid wrench to free up the parts that are seized together. Remember, one screw adjusts left-right and one screw adjusts up-down.

I hope you didn't unscrew it to far popping the ball out of the socket.
