I disagree sol. I don't have boost, and I bring a smile to my face when I shift at 5200rpm.. mmm I love the sound of the engine.. just a lack of sound on the damn exhaust!

agreed... am i the only one here that thinks forced induction is kinda "cheating?" i love the roar of my exhaust at WOT when the motor'* grabbing all the air it can get, as opposed to some mechanical device force feeding it. whine is the sound of imported power; roar is the sound of american muscle. look at the 70'*! most of the power there was just a big block with a couple carbs and a dual tunnel ram. my ambition is to someday take my NA bonnie into the 14'* and beyond. now that'* REAL muscle!

Ain't that the truth ! While my car was being worked on by my Father-in-law, I was using my wife'* '99 Century with it'* 3.1 ltr motor. Plus I put a K & N filter in her stock airbox. After riding that for a bit and getting back into my blue beast, it was kinda like culture shock! There is no turning back.

Well, what I was thinking was more non car related, like women. Being with a woman is much much better than hearing supercharger whine.

Naw, she is a real keeper. I couldn't have done better. She is very low maintainence. I consider myself the better blessed by the deal.
