I spray painted it. I used 1200 degree black, then put 2 coats of 500 degree clear. Both paints are high heat rated, and were bought at advance auto parts. The hardest part was painting the back valve cover cause it wasn't as easy to get to.

I may still get another can of clear and put another 2 or 3 coats on the intake manifold and front valve cover to give it more of a glass look to it. Plus I still have to get my chrome nut covers, red or yellow spark plug wires, red or yellow vacuum hoses to finish it off, and 3800 lettering done on the front valve cover.
