Well, alarm and remote start are disconected, but car is running fine. Pisses me off because I dont even have a factory fob so I go to use the key each time I want to get in the car. I feel so "un-cool"

i had that problem with the alarm 2 but it turned out to be a defective brain for the alarm got the brain replaced and had no problems since then

Interesting. My Mother'* Plymouth Voyager decided to reject it'* aftermarket alarm after almost a year. It would start and run just fine, but could not be turned off. She had to yank three plug wires to get it to stop running!
