Default My car is almost Complete!!

So my car is almost complete. Like ive mentioned many i time... The car now has new struts, rotors, calipers, pads, drums, shoes, tires, ect ect ect. New 32mm SSEI sway bar going on as i write this, urethane bushing, new end links, now i just need the impossible to find retaining clips for the door body panels. and a four wheel alignment.
How much does a four wheel alignment usually cost?

Probably somewhere around $100, depending on where you go. It'* always best to shop around for the best price.

yea but someplaces are also ripoffs. alot of places only do chamber and not toe in/out. Or go off the tierods and not off of tierods and struts.

Yeah you have to ask them what they all do when they do alignments. There are also some places that prefer to do alignments the old way, instead of using the new computerized alignment machines. There are pros and cons to both. Some places may even charge you around the $75 range if you're lucky. From my experience, some of the most common auto places also have some of the highest prices, and some of the small town shops do the same exact alignment for a better price, and will actually take the time to make sure it is right.

Additionally, getting an alignment when your car is lowered (as mine is) sucks. The prices go sky high and many places will turn you away. This is a case where the "old way" of doing alignments is often the best.

I took it for a drive the other day, without the alignment and ITS AMAZING. With the new struts and SSEI sway bar it rides perfect. THere is no vibration, no pull, but the steering wheel is cockeyed. Alignment will come soon but ran into a new unforeseen problem. I guess if u let your insurance expire (even if the car isnt being driven, and just being worked on) when u go to get insurance again, u have to go threw a high risk insurance company and pay high risk prices for 6 months! WTF. So now i have to sign the car over to my girl friends mom for the six months then we can switch it back into my girlfriends name again. RIDICULOUS!
