I got this car totally by accident. I had that crappy caravan and my dad was looking for me a new car. Well he bought a 1992 grand am, however my dad wasn't going to let me have it till I paid him for it in full, and until then my step mom was going to drive it so she doesnt run the mileage up on her mustang. My mom got wind of this and got pissed off and sold me her Bonneville she just bought 5 month before that. She paid 5500 for it and sold it to me for 1500. So I gave her my van to drive which she took off $500 for that. I gave her $500 cash down and today she called and said she sold the van for $600 and that shes putting the money towards what I owe and that the car is now officially paid off. In the end I only paid $500 for a super nice car that I wouldn't have had, had by dad and step mom not been nasty about the grand am

Always a good feeling of being debt free. Or at least having less debt.
