Default Is my airbox unusual?

Hey guys, is my airbox different than the usual on a 95? On most of the pics I have seen, the airbox is in the front corner, and the compressor is behind it. My compressor sits beside, as seen below:

Nope that'* right. The pics you are seeing in other cars is L36 SEs and SLEs that don't have ELC, and since you have ELC, the compressor won't fit under the box where it usually sits, so GM moved it accordingly.

Gotcha.
What through me off was my 93 L67. The compressor sits behind the airbox, and the airbox is closer to the corner. I was looking at swapping them this past weekend, And it don't look like the L67 airbox will fit.

See....the reason is.. you are a 95. There was mass confusion in 95. S2 motor in the NA.. S1 in the SC'*.. and heck..even two suspension codes on a car or two.

Yes its a very easy Box to gut.. And leaves the box wide open to use the entire filter
Ain't that the truth. I pulled my old filter out, and it looks like only one spot gets used. What idiot came up with this design? Why not make the filter 3 inches across and save on space?
