The SC can whine all it wants for quite some time and will be very unlikely to fail. The thing most likely to go wrong with a Series I L67 is the tranny, and if yours shifts fine, you have little to worry about. Finding someone to buy the whole car to part it out will be difficult. Dig in the Wanted section for someone wanting a drivetrain donor car.

And some updated pics would help a lot.

Tranny was replaced at 93,000 miles and fixed again about a year or so later under the replacement warranty. I'll get some pics in a day or so.

Then the drivetrain is probably in ok shape. Idle ok? Gas mileage ok? Any creaks or rattles?

It'* only had one tune-up it'* entire life at about 85,000 so it doesn't run like new but it idles OK. The volt light comes on occasionally but the battery and alternator have checked out fine. This has been going on for about six months. With some research I found that it'* likely the ground strap between the engine and the chassis. It'* located low by the firewall and you have to get under the car, so it'* on my nice weather list. The car looks good but you can't hide 150,000 miles of wear, no matter how much you try, unless you spend alot of dough. I've lost my will to spend the dough. The hail was the icing on the cake. I'd rather replace it that fix it.
It could use back shocks, mileage is fine - needs premium of course. The hail damaged one fog light, one head light, grill screen, hood, roof, windshield, and trunk lid. Never been in an accident. Thanks for all the replies. I think it might have some value to Bonne enthusiasts. I'll get the pictures and see it there is still some interest. I'm not trying to make more money on it'* sale, I just hate to see the thing end up junked after all these years of waxing and maintenance.

Here'* a list of parts that will be of interest to some people:
Front seat covers (if not the whole seat)
SC
Tail lights if they have little delamination
ELC sensor
Grab handles
Wheels
Trunk lid insulator
Does your hood insulator say SSE?
Bumper covers
Unbroken headlight
EGR
Injectors
... I could go on and on...

That'* what I'm talking about. I had to replace a tail lense assembly when the plastic studs just broke off and it fell from the car in the driveway. Junkyard charged me $100.
I restored a 73 Cutlass Supreme back in college and the parts unique to the Supreme were hard to find, like the Hurst style shifter and the anti-sway bar.
