WOW That car took some hard hits and held up good. These cars may not have air bags but just wearing your seat belt pretty much is all you need

That was a fine specimin that took a bad hit well.
On that note, I was checking insurance ratings for some various vehicles and the Bonnevilles all get an "A" rating for collision durability and repair cost.
That'* why it'* relatively cheap to insure even an SSEi when compared to many, if not most vehicles.
BTW Tracy, I fully know how you feel after having so many good miles and times in a car. To then see it crashed is sad... :(

Thanks Lash. You are correct about how it hurts to see her in that condition. The new owner of the car loved it but she never took as good of care of it as I did. I would cringe when I'd see the car because she put bumper stickers on it , let her son drive it and he knocked the fog lights off (1 at a time) and she didn't keep her as clean inside or out as I wish she would have.
I was almost like Joan Crawford about those bumper stickers... "NO BUMPER STICKERS!!!!" instead of wire hangers

ok yall, the only thing mechanically wrong with it is the axle, how hard is that to replace. she is gonna keep the car and get it fixed. But for now she needs it to be reliable. The car has still been driving and is driveable. Thanks in advance!
