Default Mobil 1 FILTER

ok now, I was just curious to know. Over at advance where i get most everything for my car, they have Mobil 1 Oil Filters. Now I know what a great oil Mobil 1 is, but I'm curious to know, does anyone know what this filter really is, who makes it etc.

I would just get it without thinking, in a normal situation, but thing is that I currently use a Delco PF47 filter that costs maybe $2, but this Mobil 1 filter is $10.00!!!! So seriously, what is the DEAL?

It'* made by Champion Labs and it'* a good filter with a thicker steel can to handle a higher burst pressure than most filters. The main thing you want in a filter is large inlet holes and metal end caps on the filter media. After that you can start looking for added features like silicone ADBV'*.

I should mention that the M1 filter is the same size as the PF47, so make sure they get back in their original boxes after making the comparison. *wink*
