Without your year and trim level (SE, SLE, SSE, SSEi) in your sig, it'* impossible to help.

Need to know if your mirrors have the blue tint, are power (you said yes) and whether they're heated. And what year. Is it just the glass that'* broken? Please update your sig.

its a 1997 Bonneville SE Teal color, mirrors are not the blue tinted or
heated, just reg ole power mirror... and the flass isnt cracked,
its the housing... Can the mirror come off if the housing is cracked??
I used some Proxy stuff, whatever that is, I bought at autozone to mend the break.

So you're talking about the WHOLE mirror assembly, like you ran into something? You have two options...... www.gmpartsdirect.com or a wrecker, and you'll probably have to paint to match. We can provide part numbers and prices. If someone else doesn't jump on it, I will when I get home (left my damn magic book there when I came to work again :( )

Yeah the mirror was like that when I bought the car.. Like Right before the mirror assembly arches its cracked... So i gotta get another assembly I guess, How do u put those bitches on?? it looks like a pain in the *******...and also, does that aproxy crap u get at autozone work good?? cuz i used it to mend the crack, and will it stay attached??
it was attached before i mended it with the aproxy crap and cracked.... But it looks like the black faceplate around the mirror holds it on??? maybe i am not sure..

You have to remove the inside door panel to access the bolts holding the mirror assembly on. I would suggest getting a new/used mirror first, have it painted, then install it. Mending won't last forever, and then it would have to be painted on the car. Can you post a pic of what you've got? And update your sig?

the mirror isnt cracked but in 1 small place and like i said it stays on w/o using any sort of glue, but I just used glue to fill in the crack like silicone i guess lol... was that a bad idea?? Cant u buy mirrors already painted??? MY car is a teal color fairly common among 97-98 bonnevilles.

I'm having a hard time visualizing what your problem might be.

Searching for parts in GMPD is like trying to put the key in your door drunk, in the dark, with thick leather gloves on.

You'll need a part number from one of us, and my book isn't here right now. I'll be at home in about 3 hours, and can look it up for you, or Don or one of the Moderators can if they see this first.
