I've gotten this same issue on my L36 every winter. It'* no big deal. It happens from several short trips. A good trip on the e-way will clear it up.

Like you, I was scared to death the first time I noticed it. I posted it a long time ago...doubt I'll be able to find the pics, though.

I'm at 131K now and still running like a champ...and still get the light sludge on short trips.

(Sheesh...look at the date on that post..almost a year ago and had 93K at the time...that'* almost 40K in one year. )

Yeah garage doesn't help much in -35*C or colder temperatures.

Sorry..here in NE since I've had a garage I haven't seen it again. Although my experience was Fords were more prone to it than GM'*.
