They will not let you watch due to insurance reasons. I have asked many times to see them working, and you aren't allowed.

There is no regulation preventing you from standing outside the bay where they are working. Just not under the lift

I won't let anyone touch mine if I can't watch or at least look in while the work is being done. The only time that has happened was at the dealer when i had the struts and the SC gasket done

Yeah that'* actually what I meant. I should have worded it a little better. IMO, I WILL NOT let anyone touch my car but me or someone I know personally.

I had a great experience at my local midas last week.....Tech topped off and trouble shooted on my A/C issue for an 1hr and half and didn't charge me a dime, and he told me how to get by until I find a programmer box.

Plus I've used them in the past too.

I went into the Midas near me a long time ago to get my brakes checked. The guy seemed real nice and not like he was trying to sell stuff I didn't need. Was going to try to turn the rotors even though they would be close to the limit. But the labor was $$$$ so I said no thanks and did it myself for around $450 less.
