Meets and Bonne Owners
After recently having the NEBF meet here in CT... (I want to have another)
It'* such a good feeling getting everyone together and modding, doing maintenance..teaching each other....goofing off together.
Not only those things...on the way to the meet and homeward bound. We sent off 2 groups of 4-6 cars one west..one northwest. The NW group had one member with an issue. They called it in, got advice and the local parts stores. Some stayed with the car and pulled the old part off...others got the new part. In all...great togetherness and what would have been a horrible time for one person was remedied quickly.
When heading to a meet...see if others in your area want to drive together... get a couple two way radios. It makes for a great adventure and tons of fun!!!
Did I mention the upcoming meets? They are in the Regional Meets area...next one is the Central Meet.

Maybe charades at 80 mph? Or writing back and forth at 80 mph?

It was good to hear Pete got home ok! It was great they were able to fix the problem and get back on the road. It definitely is a good idea to travel in groups especially in the event of an emergency.
In regards to emergencies on the road, it wouldn't be a bad idea to carry a little fire extinguisher with you as well. At least for piece of mind. I've been thinking about getting one. Just a thought

I've flashed people while I was driving before. It was hilarious, the next NEBF I'll be caravaning with Rob and Geoff (assuming if they're goin to NEBF)
