Many years ago (96-97) I had someone offer me a straight trade up on my 91 to a 88-90 black Grand Prix Turbo.

I said 'no' of course, but looking back had I known what I know now, I might have said yes. Back then I was young and dumb... I thought my 3.8L would be almost as fast as a 3.1L Turbo... and I also didn't know the car had the same steering wheel controls, and a HUD to boot.... way back in late 80s early 90s.

I had a 90 Turbo Grand Prix. What an amazing car!! I wouldn't have sold it, but the insurance on 3 cars was horrible. I bought it off ebay needing a front end. But in the process, I bought ALL kinds of performance stuff for it as well....holy crap, that car scared me it was so fast!! Here are a few pics....before and after! Enjoy.

What'* faster (stock) one of these Turbo GPs, or an SSEi?
