Default Maunal trannies

Ok I had a dream that I was driving my Bonnie with a 6 speed manual tranny going up and down hills and around sharp bends going through the gears and having a good old time. I wish there was a way these cars could be converted to having a manual tranny but I'm only dreaming . I did a search and couldnt find anything on the subject so I decided I wanted to post this myself.

Soon to be a possibility. The G6 is supposed to get a 6spd sometime soon. It'll probably fit the 3.8 bolt pattern.

The Gertrag 5-speed will work if you have the major cash to fabricate the clutch hardware and drive axles.

As the Fiero guys have been doing for a while. I think the G6 uses the 4t65 at the moment, so if they offer a 6spd for it, it should be an easy swap to a 3800 car.

It already does IIRC. Brian Teel (l67swap.com)has the G6 trans and was trying to swap it into a 97+ gp.
