Sounds good... I made the switch at about 135,000 miles, and the car still seems to be running well. I use Walmart 10W-30 full syn and a Delco filter. Shame on you for using that Fram!

yea i know fram sucks. I was about to go out and do the oil but realized it is a 4qt jug and not a 5qt jug. So it looks like the oil tomorrow and just brakes and rotors tonight.

yeah I installed a AC Delco filter too when I changed my oil. I actually bought FRAM at first before I knew how crappy they were

I didn't know they even made 4qt jugs...
The nice thing about the 5 qt jugs is that after 9 or so oil changes, the next one is "free" since you don't have to use all 5qts. I'm just about there

Umm, I've never seen a 5 qt jug :? Only 1 gal 4 qt containers.

But umm. instead of that Delco filter, I recommend using a Purolator PureONE. They use much better materials. But delco is ok too, some here swear by it, but just a little tip.

Walmart has the 5qt jugs; but at mine its cheaper to buy the individual quarts
go figure.
