to see an SSEi, 96-99 beat the hell up. I saw 7 of them latly. One of them was a cluckers car. <-Dope fiend The others I have just seen them riding pass and the mirror is either hanging, missing, bent doors in from an accident, rear sagging really bad, the pipe in the back is missing(This has to be a hard impact for that pipe extention to come off) dirty, just plain pethetic. They should give me there car.

yeah a guy down the street from me has an '87 LE, I think the only thing that does work on the car is the engine, transmission, and the drivers side door. I asked him why the car is in such bad shape, he said, "it isn't in bad shape, its just rough around the edges" yeah i'll say rough around the edges.. rough around the dented, broken, rusted, and missing edges. Oh well, not my car, and wouldn't even be worth 100$ for the broken parts he has. lol

There'* pleny of them though. TO me it'* just a bonneville, a large 4 door fwd car, that sold a lot in the 90'*. It'll get banged up, beaten etc.

Better them then future collector cars IMHO (Firehawks, GTO'*, Cobra R'*, Impala SS, etc)

One of the people I work with drives a grey 93 SE.... it'* all beat up.
They hate the car.... it'* a real shame.

They said they've had nothing but problems with it, but won't take the time/money to fix it right. They are just running it into the ground.

Yea, gotta hate people who drive around beat-up Bonnevilles. You know, the ones with dull paint and primer all over them, and the bumper missing... the ones that look like they used to be a really nice shade of indigo, like BonneMe'*... sucks... they should all be shot... I hate 'em all...

Uh, nevermind...

This is my bottom line, there are other family cars as well it thesee years that have been kept like mint. Take the lexus or benz, or cadillac. I know those cost more but they are stll family cars.

True. But keep in mind, above and beyond the syling, a lot of poeple go after the Bonneville for the very reason you mentioned.........RELIABILITY!! They might look like hell, but they keep on going!

What got me started on the Bonneville'* was the reliability. My old 87 wouldn't die for anything.....and it looked like HELL!! I would get looks in that thing! LOL. My 93 is starting to deteriorate, but it still runs like a top. Every day that it gets me from A to B, it'* saving me money...money that I can put toward one of those cars that Jason mentioned!
