magnaflow cats
Looking to order a magnaflow highflow cat online. There'* the stainless steel ones, the universal fit ones, the direct fit ones... which one should I get, and who should I buy it from?

Trust me on this, only way to know is to get underneath and measure it. Turned out I had 2.5 inch pipe. So the one I got is in my sig below. Measure first, and then order.
I found out the hard way.....

Where do I measure for that? don't really know much about my exhaust system. oh, and maybe someone could give me what would be a fair price for installation? i want to start calling around.

Universal fit will do. It is likely your exhaust will be 2.25". I beleive my Mag Cat. is a 95000 series, however looking on just magnaflow.com it seems they now make one with an O2 bung. Don't remember that being around when I got mine.

To measure your pipe before the muffler without cutting into anything...take a sewing tape measure and wrap it around the pipe...take that number and divide it by 3.14. That is your pipe diameter.
Installation should cost between $60-$80 depending on the shop....no more...

I ordered this when I did my cat about a year ago. It bolted right on and I clamped it up and had it welded later. IMO what you get should depend on if you are going to install it your self of have some one else do it. If your going to have a muffler shop put the cat in buy the universal, otherwise get the direct fit..
