Update. A good friend of mine is the head mechanic at a dealership here in Charlotte. We took it over to the body shop yesterday and his buddy was able to get all the scratches out except for one small one. He did a darn good job and i was impressed with his work. I feel a little better now. Here is the result.

Walter:
Your bud did a fantastic job.

Is the part of the car he worked on now polished better than the rest of the car? IE better shine.

Did he use a rotary buffer?

Anyways it looks 1000% better.

I had claybared the car while I was in Florida plus a good coating of Meguiars gold class. He used a rotary buffer for wet-sanding and applied a few other polishes afterwards. I thought he did an outstanding job.

I was just going to mention that some 2000 grit and Presta 1500 on an orange pad may take that out. Looks like you have things under control though and I am glad too see that.

I thought so too. We didn't do a R.O. at the service desk. I dealt with him directly if you catch my drift. He got a pretty good "tip" afterwards.

It is a shame that people need to do things like that. Sorry that happened to your car man, I would be sooooo ticked. But WOW, nice work on the repair.

PS. Should send a message to those here on the club. Our club is different then most, we should live our lives different then most, because people are going to continue to be....., well you know what they are. Just my two sense.
