If there are I would go with a smaller drop so its not as noticeable, if there aren't any laws on changing the suspension of your car then go as low as you want to go

as far as i know there are none.. but ill check into it (not like its gonna make me change my mind anyways )

but what about ride and suspension wise, which one would be better/safer
any ideas?

Well the lower you go the stiffer the the springs will need to be to keep the car from draggin' *** over bumps
