If it was just the bumper probably not, but with the bent rim and the tie rod work I might as well do the insurance. 500 deductable is a lot better than 1700.00 in repair work. I only pay 486 a year in insurance anyway so if it goes up a bit its not that bad. Looks like I might have to wait on the PCM burn but those headers are still going on!

I like to think that I'm a pretty good driver, circumstances (namely the lake of ice and my homeowners associations failure to have a snow plow/salt truck do anything this year) were a bit out of my control this time. i mean how bad do roads have to be for a car to spin out at 10 mph with the ABS and stability system going crazy to try and stop the car.
